Using Only Strips of Paper, This Lady Makes Spellbinding Masterpieces (Pictures)

Yulia Brodskaya is an exceptionally creative illustrator and artist who has totally revolutionized the way paper is used in art.

Born in Moscow in 1983, Yulia moved to the UK in 2004 to continue her art education at the University of Hertfordshire.

After finishing with her schooling in 2006, Yulia started off her professional career working mainly as an illustrator and graphic designer. But it didn’t take long for her to give up computers in order to pursue her true passion: paper art.

“Paper always held a special fascination for me. I’ve tried many different methods and techniques of working with it, until I found the way that has turned out to be ‘the one’ for me: now I draw with paper instead of on it.”

After experiencing the privilege of viewing some of her work for myself, I must say I’m quite glad she chose to give up graphic design. Check out some of her awesome art for yourself below:
